It's All About Beaches

I've traded white sand and sunshine for a relaxing dinner on the cool southern shore of Lake Ontario.

All of those wonderful finds from many shopping trips in Florida have made it back home.

and I'm ready to relax on my very own sunporch with a glorious view of the Lake.  This is where we typically view the sunset, but tonight the clouds have obscured it.

My new plates from Marshalls are partnered with the gorgeous salad plates from Kohl's, salt & pepper shells and glass tea lights, from ROSS, net and flatware from Bealls, napkins from HomeGoods, and placemats from TJMaxx.  Phew!!!! I covered alot of territory.

The napkin rings I made from shower curtain hooks and pvc shelf supports (check out Met Monday), and a closer view of those sweet little salt and pepper shakers next to the star fish glasses I bought at Kohl's when I returned home.

Remember the candles I bought way back in February that didn't match anything else I brought home from that first shopping trip for my very first Tablescape Thursday?  I just knew it would all come together!

My inspiration.

and the sign from Beall's Outlet in Florida (Tablescaping in Paradise)

I think ITLLDO until summer officially arrives at the Lake.

Thanks for stopping by, and please don't forget to hop on over to Susan's place at Between Naps on the Porch for another adventure with Tablescape Thursday.

Hello from the other side of the lake (or near it at least.) What a striking view you have to the lake. It must be very interesting to live so near the lake, with all its calmness and fury.

Love your beachy tablescape. The colours are so lovely.

It's amazing how this dishes inspires both of you to dine with water in the backdrop. Although you and Christine used the same dinnerware, each of you has made a very personal tablescape. I like your salad plates and the great idea with the beachy napkin ring. Looks great.
Greetings, Johanna
